Cristiano Ronaldo and Irina Shayk strip for Vogue Spain cover in Mario Testino photo shoot

Here are the models who make up Vogue cover: a soccer superstar, a Russian supermodel and an iconic Peruvian celebrity photographer. Reminiscent of the recent Kim and Kanye cover, Cristiano Ronaldo and Irina Shayk have posed for celebrity photographer Mario Testino in a variety of loved-up scenes for the June 2014 issue. For the Spanish Vogue cover, the stunning Shayk shields her footballer lover’s modesty with her white strapless gown. With bodies like that, this celebrity couple have little reason to cover up and Testino is taking full advantage.

With the cover lines ‘Amor and Futbol’, which translates to ‘Love and Football’ the soon-to-be-married duo show off their stunning bods in some risque positions. “The most surprising thing will be the cover: to have Cristiano and Irina together with a spectacular photo with the energy and magic of Mario Testino.

“That light and colour and that relationship — because Mario knows how to pretty much capture the soul of those he photographs,” Yolanda Sacristan, the director of Vogue Spain, says in a behind-the-scenes video from the shoot.

With the Kim and Kanye cover breaking sales records for the magazine it’s clear that this wont be the last celeb couple to pose-up in steamy positions for the cover — and it’s certainly not the first.
